I have been dating for 2 yrs I even have a wonderful daughter. There is one issue that seems to never get addressed in our relationship. We never go out, if he takes me out its on Sundays during the day in areas where he won’t run in to people he knows. I wonder is he embarrassed of me. If we go to the store either I have to get out and go by myself or he leaves and I stay in the car and he says I took you out. His friends take their girls out but he doesn’t with me. I think at times he gets invited places but avoids to go just so he won’t have to take me or goes anyways and makes a story. I am young I would love to go out to dinner and dance…. I think its thrilling when you both get dressed and go out its like your two different people. He feels i want this all the time but he never does it. I say he is embarrassed because if he does bump into someone he never introduces me its like I don’t exist he says they were not important. I am proud of him and will tell everyone I’m in love and who he is but I don’t feel the same with him…. it’s like he is hiding me & know one needs to know who i am… I moved to be with him I have no friends or family here. Sometimes I feel when he does go out at night that he picks up another girl and shows her as his girl… I don’t know anybody I’m never gonna know. Of course males he says I’m insecure; my insecurities are going to drive us apart and its not that sometimes i feel like I’m being lied to… Is it wrong to feel this way…I just want to feel like I am someone to him and not just a blow up doll he comes home to…Why can’t he take me out at night for dinner and dance… I’m not asking for luxury things a diamond ring a new car…
