No matter how much you may like someone and there is no sexual attraction you cannot fake it either. You might be able to explain away less then desired intimacy for a while but eventually the truth will shine through.

Your partner may not give a rats’ behind about a candle lit bubble bath or a night out on the town with the boys. It may be more important to them to have extra help around the house they do feel more motivated to get physical in the evening.

Keep in mind that statistically men marry within three years of their age bracket. This does not limit you to just that bracket but ups your chance of a long-term commitment.

If you really know your friend well you can discuss all of these pros and cons openly before ensuing a deeper relationship. Communication is key in any relationship so starting a deeper relationship with a friend that you have been able communicate openly for years already may not be such a bad thing to try.
